She was predeceased by her parents Olive Colford Hunt and Patrick Colford and her brother Thomas Colford (Karen).

Gladys started dating her husband Mike at the age of 14 years and they have been inseparable ever since.  Prior to her illness Gladys loved spending time with her family, siblings and friends at her cabin.  She loved game night with her sisters-in-law Marie Byrne, Helen Bellows, Colleen Keough and Doreen Wilton, while dad watched hockey with Joe Byrne.  She loved to bake, cook and spend time with her husband, children and grandchildren who were her life. Her favorite things were her family, Christmas, knitting, crocheting, baking and cooking.  She will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A very special thank you to her sisters Marjorie Stone and Karen Hunt who stayed with us all night until she passed. A special thank you to her brother Larry Colford for his frequent visits during her illness and into the late night and morning of her passing.  A special thanks to the social worker, doctors and nurses on the second and third floor of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital.  A very special thank you to the social worker, doctors and nurses at the Palliative Care Unit who we never could have gotten through this without.
