It's with heavy hearts the family of the late Geraldine Tarbett (nee Tapp) announce her passing at the Health Science Complex in St. John's on Sunday, May 9, 2021. She was predeceased by her partner Clyde Banks (2019), parents: mother – Alice, father – William (Bill), brother – David, sister – Greta, sister-in-law Sharon Tapp and brother-in-law – Dave Ryan.
Leaving to mourn with fond loving memories, her son, Bobby (her pride and joy). Her siblings: Brenda Ryan (Tapp), Raymond, Douglas, Clayton (Debbie) and Evelyn Tapp (Dave), sister-in-law: Wanda Tapp and the Tarbett family, and her extended family Shannon (Crystal) Banks, Renee Banks (David) and special children Anna and Christian, countless nephews and nieces, close friends Julie Locke and Marilyn Courage.
Geraldine will always be remembered for her endless hospitality, love of life and willingness to do whatever possible for anyone who graced her doorstep.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the doctors and staff of the Health Science Center, St. Johns for their continued care of our beloved Geraldine.
She will be resting from Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, Corner Brook on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, a private family viewing will take place at 11 am and the funeral service will take place at 2 pm from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence St. with Rev. Tanya White officiating and the interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in memory of Geraldine (Jean) Tarbett to one of the following: The Canadian Cancer Society, The Canadian Diabetes Association, or the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
