It is with great sadness that the family of the late Georgina Mae Curtis announce her passing on January 20 ^th , 2023 at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit at the grand age of 99 years. Left to mourn with the fondest of memories are her children: Derrick (Louise), Brenda, Vaden (Joan), and Carlos (Debbie); 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a very large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Georgina is predeceased by her husband, Maxwell; parents: James and Alice Wells; parents-in-law: Abner and Bridgete Curtis; brothers: Rob, Benny, Steve, and William; sisters: Isabelle, Bertha, Jessie, Alice, Erica, Sara Elizabeth, and Jane; brothers-in-law: Frank, William, Steven, and Arthur; and son-in-law: Terry Decker.

There will be a private family viewing and funeral service held at Country Haven Funeral Home with Pastor Canning officiating. Interment to take place at Emmanuel Pentecostal Cemetery, Cox's Cove. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made to the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church Fund in Georgina's memory.
