December 10, 1934 – February 2, 2021
It is with great sadness, that the family of the late George Crane announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care at the age of 86 years. He will be missed by his children: Veronica (Gary), Greg (Christine), Marvin (Wanda Lee), Chris (Carolyn), Clem (Irenena), Alice, Jamie (Jessica). His grandchildren: Mike, Joe, Adam, Nina, Helen, Gregory, Shanice, Gloria, Marvin, Kurtis, Jack, Rebecca, Glenda, Johnny, Kevin, Madison, Matthew, Meghan, Emmaleigh, Jamie, Amy, Amanda, Jason and Draper, 25 great-grandchildren. His sister, Bessie Park; his sisters in law, Shirley Payne, Ethel Park, Theresa Crane and Lori Crane; brothers in law, Dave Park and Russell Park (Louise), his furry friend Sailor and a large circle of nieces and nephews, as well as many good friends made from his days on the water as a fisherman. He was deceased by his wife, Ada Crane (nee Park); his children: George, Harold, Archie and Georgina; his parents, Nathaniel and Frances Crane, his parents in law, Harold and Emily Park, his brothers, Ludrick, Hilliard and Bill; his sisters, Melinda and Velma. His brothers-in-law, Cyril, Eugene, Joe, Howard, Ralph and William; sisters-in-law, Evelyn, Hilda, Beatrice and Mary Ellen. A private family visitation will take place on Thursday, Feb 4th, 2021 from the Pentecostal Church in Cox's Cove from where the private funeral service will be held on Friday, Feb 5th, 2021 with Pastor Orvin Canning officiating. Interment to follow at the Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Cox's Cove. The family wishes to thank Dr. Brake for his many years of dedication and care shown to our family. The staff of 2 South in Corner Brook Long Term Care for the outstanding care of our father, and compassion shown to our family during all times, but especially this past week, during our most difficult days. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations in memory of George can be made to the Pentecostal Church Fund Cox's Cove, NL.
