It is with great sadness that the family of the late Garland Noseworthy announce his passing on April 21 ^st , 2023 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, NL at the age of 68 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his beloved wife of 47 years: Priscella; his pride and joy, his daughter: Jody Williams (Brent Mahoney); two precious grandsons: Aiden, and Alex, who were the light of his life, whom he adored endlessly, and who brought many smiles and memories to him; his siblings: Emily, and Sadie; brothers: Lawrence (Jean), Eric, Norman (Helen), Gorvin (Sarah), Selby (Lorraine), Wade, and Brian (Wanda Hughes); brothers and sisters-in-law: Colin Williams (Rachel), Gloria Barrett, Vivian Williams, Jessie Stevens (Howard), Peter Webb (Nancy), Roland Macey, and Velma Noseworthy; his special nephews: Kent Noseworthy, and Mitchell Stevens; as well his other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Garland is predeceased by his parents: Selby and Mary Noseworthy; parents-in-law: Joseph and Caroline Williams; sisters: Currie Macey, Cassie Webb, Winifred Major (Robert), and Rosie Hughes (Whyman); brother: Oswald Noseworthy; brothers-in-law: Gideon, Henry, Gordon, and Edgar; and his sisters-in-law: May, Irene Vivian.

Garland was a tax preparer who was dedicated to his work, and the people of the communities of the Northern Peninsula. He was a very witty gentleman who brought many smiles, and lots of laughter to his family, clients, and many friends.

There will be a visitation held for family and close friends on Sunday, April 23 ^rd , 2023 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 3-5 PM. Cremation to follow. There will be no formal funeral service at this time. Interment to take place at a later date.
