It is with great sadness that the family of the late Garland Frederick Joyce announce his passing at the Long Term Care Center, Corner Brook on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at the age of 65 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Vera, son Donald of Fort MacMurray, daughters; Joanne of Toronto, Deanna (Donald) of Lark Harbour, three grandchildren; Dylan Childs, Donna Lee Joyce, Jack Joyce, brothers; Lorne (Martha), Wayde (Melina), Ross (Helen), Mark (Maisy), Warren (Bernice), sisters; Louise Darrigan and Rhoda (Charles) Prosper, sister-in-law Melinda Joyce - Morris as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his parents; George & Sarah Joyce, his brothers; George Jr. and Elmer, sister Melissa Ann, , brother-in-law Alan Darrigan. Visitation will take place at St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour on Thursday, February 3, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. & Friday, February 4, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at St. James Anglican Church on Saturday, February 5th, 2011 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Nellie Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at St. James Anglican church cemetery, Lark Harbour. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the St. James Anglican Church Fund.
