It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Art Ryan announce his sudden and unexpected passing at home on Dec 3, 2024 at the age of 57 years. Art is predeceased by his loving parents, Clem and Margaret Ryan, Peter Oliver and numerous family and friends that he cherished. Leaving to mourn with heavy hearts are his daughter; Maryann (Richard). His sisters; Shirley (Brent) and Debbie (Kev). Also, special friends; Nina and Paul. Also, many nieces and nephews and his little buddy Aniya whom he adored.

Anyone who knew Art, knew he took pride in his job. He loved working with tools and completing beautiful projects as a carpenter/contractor. He was deeply saddened when he was forced to give up work due to a lung cancer diagnosis last year. His passions outside of work included softball, where he was known as, "the little man with the big heart" and darts, where he made many friends over the years. He valued and appreciated these friendships, especially over this past year, when he couldn't play like he used to.

His wish was to have a private final viewing with his family and then for cremation to take place. A service to honour his memory will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
