The family of Frances Mary Williams would like to announce her peaceful passing at Corner Brook Long Term Care on Friday, November 6 ^th at the age of 85 years. Frances was born and raised in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. She spent many years as a Presentation Sister before retiring as a teacher in the St. John's metro area. Frances leaves to mourn with fond memories are her sisters: Rita Atkinson (Kevin), Theresa MacLean (Gord) Ottawa, Ontario; her nieces, Carolyn (Terry) Mount Pearl, Jackie (Dave) Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Heidi, North Carolina and her nephew Jason (Patricia), Ottawa, Ontario; two great-nephews, Adam (Erin) Mount Pearl, and Riley, North Carolina, and great-niece Stephanie (Matthew) Middle Sackville, Nova Scotia. Special thanks to Sister Kathleen Rex, Father Edward Terry and the caring staff at Corner Brook Long Term Care for their compassion and kindness. Francy is predeceased by her father and mother, Bert and Frances Williams of Corner Brook. As per Francy's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family interment will be held at Mount Patricia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Francy's memory can be made to a charity of one's choice.
