It is with great sadness that the family of the late Florence Dorothy Vincent (nee. Francis) announce her peaceful passing on Wednesday, August 16th, 2023 at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit in her 78th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her four children: Linda Vincent (Skip), Dianne Vincent, Rob Vincent (Wendy), and Florence Cox (Jim); 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; her two sisters: Eileen Greening (Bob), and Jean Colson (John); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Florence is predeceased by her husband: Bob Vincent; her parents: Carrie and Archibald Francis; brothers: Charles, Walter, and Phillip; sister: Joyce; and sister-in-law: Angela Howlett.

Florence always looked forward to attending bingos on Thursday, every week, at the legion. She also enjoyed radio bingo on Saturdays, and anyone who knew her, knew that bingo came first! She also enjoyed her scratch tickets, and spending time with her loving family.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Western Long Term Palliative Care Unit, and to a dear family friend: Kim Smith-Evans; for all their kindness and compassion shown during our dear mother's time of need. Also, to daughter: Florence Cox, for all her love and support shown to our mom and grandmother. You are all earths angels! Your exceptional care, love, kindness, and support will never be forgotten.

There will be a visitation held on Monday, August 21st, 2023 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 10 AM – 12 PM, from where the funeral service will take place at 2 PM in the Country Haven Chapel with Father John officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Florence's memory to a charity of one's choice.
