It is with great sadness that the family of the late Florence Lillian Penney announce her passing on November 28 ^th , 2022 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in her 88 ^th year. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughter: Barbara Sears, Sackville, NB; grandchildren: Cassy Milner (Arnold), Frederick Sears (Beverly); Jennifer Granter (Adrian), Georgia Penney (Brad), and Barbie Penney (Adam); great-grandchildren: Morgan Rushe (Darren), Ashton Milner, Whitney Milner (Kelvin), Elisha Sears,  Dashiell Sears, and Dylan Granter; great-great-grandson: Aiden Rushe; sister: Marie Greene, Summerside, NL; brother: Ron Sheppard (Irene), Ontario; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Florence is predeceased by her husband, George F. Penney; her son: George E. Penney; mother: Flossie Christopher; father, Chesley Sheppard; brothers: Donald, Frank (Josephine), Kevin Sheppard; and her sister: Alfreda Penney (Tom).

At Florence's request, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation held on Friday, December 2 ^nd , 2022 at Country Haven Funeral Home at 1 PM from where the funeral service will take place at 2 PM with Rev. Terry Loder officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a memorial donation can be made in Florence's memory to the Lung Association ( https://www.lung.ca/ ).

The family wishes to send a sincere thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Corner Brook Long Term Care for their care and compassion during Florence's stay.
