It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we the family of Florence Roberta Lee announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on January 14 ^th , 2023 at the age of 77 years. Florence leaves to mourn, her loving husband of 59 years: Patrick Lee; her fur baby: Candy; four children, her daughters: Zena Park (Chad), Kimberly Eales (David), Trudy LeDrew (Stephen); her only son: John Lee; grandchildren: Breanna Eales (Gage), Hannah Eales, Kyle Park (Ashley), Danika Park (Matt), and Taylor LeDrew (Stephen); great-grandchildren: Madison, and Layla Mackenzie; her siblings: Delphine, Liz, Goldie, Yvonne, Henry, Bax, Levi, Herb, and Roy; her brothers and sisters-in-law of the Lee family; best friend: Mary George; her card buddies, swimming companions, and Tops friends; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, many relatives, and friends.

Florence is predeceased by her grandson: Zachary Park; parents: Gertrude and Allan Budgell; sister: Winnie Budgell; and mother and father-in-law: Thomas and Gertrude Lee.

Florence loved a good game of cards and she played many at the cabin with family and friends.  She loved to garden, travel when she was able, and loved to take care of others.

The family would like to thank Dr. Heneghan of St. John's for his compassionate care of Florence for the past 13 years.

Florence wanted to be cremated and to have no formal visitation or service…"think of her, pray for her, and remember to love and forgive each other". If you would like to show an expression of sympathy, a donation can be made to the SPCA in Corner Brook, or to the Janeway in Florence's memory.

Florence fought the good fight and was an inspiration to all who knew her.
