It is with great sadness that the family of the late Evelyn Theresa Andre Nee Cole announce her passing on Wednesday, June 2 ^nd 2021, at the palliative care unit of Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL. She was predeceased by her husband Liguori Andre aswell as her parents Joseph and Providence Cole. She was also predeceased by her siblings Eileen, Veronica, Louise, Margaret, Joseph, Bill, Gerald, John, Derm, Mary, Lloyd and nephew Craig. She will be sadly missed by her sister Diane and her very special niece Joanne Legge and her family with whom she shared many cherished celebrations and important life events. There were many other nephews and nieces who were influenced by her in many different ways.

Evelyn had no children of her own but she was very intimately involved with the lives of her nephews and nieces. She also loved to socialize with especially be missed by her card buddies and close friends, especially Gerry, Ruth and Barb.

Evelyn was a pioneer of her generation as a career working woman. She worked for her whole adult life, mostly at service Canada. She was strong, intelligent and fiercely independent. Driving and doing her own errands until the day of her massive stroke. She was a woman of faith who always had a rosary nearby.

cremation has taken place, there will be a visitation and funeral service to take place at Country Haven Funeral Home on Monday, June 7 ^th , 2021 at 11:00 Am with Father Lee Laney officiating with interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, there are no flowers by request, memorial donations can be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
