It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Ethelbert Armand Noel announce his peaceful passing on Wednesday, March 29 ^th , 2023 at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit at the grand age of 96 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 74 amazing years, Dorothy; his children: Catherine (Roy-deceased), Yvonne (Don), Michael, Janet (Joe), Christine (Jeff), Terri-Lynn (David), and David (Janice); daughter-in-law: Beverly; sisters-in-law: Rona Noel, and Hazel Amfaldern; his 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of other relatives, and many friends.

Bert is predeceased by his gentle hearted and ever loved son: Marcel; his father Emile; mother Mary; and his many brothers and sisters.

Bert proudly lived, worked, married, and raised his family in Corner Brook. He worked for 37 years at Bowaters Pulp and Paper and retired at the age of 57. He enjoyed 39 wonderful years of retirement. Bert will always be remembered for his happy go lucky nature. His family and many grandchildren will remember him singing his beautiful songs.

There will be a private visitation for family held on Friday, March 31 ^st , 2023 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 1 ^st , 2023 at 10:30 AM in the Country Haven Chapel with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Bert's memory.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Bert's Mountainview Estates family, to the angels at the Palliative Care Unit for their care and compassion, and to Dr. Christopher Whitten, and Wendy.
