It is with heavy hearts the families of the late Jim King announce his peaceful passing at the Bonne Bay Long Term Care Centre on Friday October 31st 2025 at the age of 85.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his best friend and love of his life for 33 years, Hazel. His sister; Marina. 5 step-children; Keith (Sandra), Harold (Dawn), Raymond, Gladys (Carl), and Judy (Kevin). Nephew; Paul (Dina).  Nieces; Maxine (Don), Gail (Terry), and Nicole (Darius).  Great-nephew, a number of great-nieces, grandchildren; Angie, Amy, Brandi and Katelyn. Great grandchildren and many friends.

Jim was predeceased by his parents; Anna and Cecil King. His sister; Violet and brothers-in-law; Norm and Weston.

We would like to thank ALL the wonderful staff at the Bonne Bay Long Term Care Centre in Norris Point for their exceptional care and kindness given to Jim while he was there.

Jim worked as a plumber for the Newfoundland Government where he was respected by so many people. He enjoyed walking, skiing, reading fishing, woodworking and berry picking.

In keeping with Jim's wishes, cremation will take place, followed by a graveside service at Mount Patricia Cemetery at 11:00 AM on Tuesday November 4th 2025, with Rev. Mickton officiating.  In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Bonne Bay Long Term Care Centre in Norris Point or to the Canadian Alzheimer's Association.
