It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elizabeth Hoddinott (Pippy), often referred to as "Liza" or "Mudder", announce her passing on January 28 ^th , 2023 at the Western Long Term Care Center in her 87 ^th year. Left to cherish the precious memories are her children: Rubena Ivany, Betty Burton (Lorne), Linda Parsons, Dave Hoddinott (Veronica), Terry Hoddinott, and Curtis Hoddinott (Kim); sisters: Jessie Vokey, Lucy Miller, and Rachel Clarke; sister-in-law: Charlotte Pippy; 8 grandchildren: Claude Ivany (Carolann), Keith Parsons (Carmen), Mike Hoddinott (Laura), Kim Parsons (Casey), Janice Coish (Steven), Jennifer Pelletier (Jim), Jennifer Wells (Steven), and Brooklynn Hoddinott; as well as 10 great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives, and many friends.

Elizabeth is predeceased by her husband: Clarence Hoddinott; parents: Alfred and Sarah Pippy; sons-in-law: Max Parsons and Harvey Ivany; sisters: Alfreda, Mahala Clarke (Mark), Elsie Verge (Leslie), Rita Penney (Jim), Ella Saurois; brothers: George, Gus (Ena), and Joe (Phyllis); and sister-in-law: Evelyn Harvey (Rolland).

There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, February 1 ^st , 2023 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 2 ^nd , 2023 at 11 AM in the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to take place on Friday, February 3 ^rd , 2023 at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Elizabeth's memory to the Royal Canadian Legion-Branch 13, Elks Club, or to a charity of one's choice.
