It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elizabeth Pius Piercey (nee. Drake) on February 28th, 2024 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care in her 79th year of age. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: Brian (Marlene), Gus (Betty Lou), Jody (Monica), and Corey (Stacy); her grandchildren: Alicia (Kit), Joshua (Patty), Brianna (Kam), Austin, and Miley; great-grandchildren: Alaska, Danny, Leo, and Ashlyn; brother: Kevin; and sisters: Ann (Robert), and Mary (Junior); brother-in-law: Albert; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Elizabeth is predeceased by her husband: Thomas Piercey; parents: Patrick and Mary Drake; her brother: Austin Drake; parents-in-law: Thomas and Maria Piercey; granddaughter: Brooke; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Gus, Gerald (Madeline), Bernard, Mary Agnes (Ray), Rita White (Henry), Patricia (Basil), Doreen (Hal), and Madonna.

As per Elizabeth's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation held on Friday, March 1st, 2024 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 at 1 PM in the Country Haven Chapel with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Elizabeth's memory to a charity of one's choice.
