It is with profound sadness the family of the late Elizabeth Dale Bennett (nee. Janes) announce her passing at the Royal Columbian Hospital, New Westminster, BC., on March 6th, 2026 at the age of only 59 years.

She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband: Shawn, who was the love of her life (Mission BC); her father: Gerald Janes and stepmother: Dorothy, both of John's Beach, NL; brother: Vernon (Sara) Florida, US; cousin: (sister of her heart) Elizabeth "Betty" Harriman (Doug) Alberta; nephew: Daniel (Amy) Ontario; two great-nieces, various aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers/sisters' in-law and friends.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her mother: Patricia Janes (nee Dennis); Maternal and Paternal Grandparents, and niece: Kimberly Janes.

Elizabeth was fun-loving and full of life and enjoyed numerous outdoor activities with Shawn, her childhood sweetheart of 47 years. She was also a very giving person who was a lifelong blood donor and her last loving gift was to donate her organs to improve/save the lives of others.

Cremation has taken place with a Ceremony of Life at a later date.
