It is with grieving hearts and great sadness that the family of Elaine Park announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on July,16 2011 at the age of 51 years, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her mother Christina Vincent on July 22, 2010. Leaving to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are those to whom she was a true inspiration, her husband Rodney Park, daughters Paula Park, Amanda Park (Gerry Wheeler); grandchildren: Kelsey, Abby, Rodney, Brady; father: Arthur Vincent; sisters: Mary Humber (Eric), Ellen Dormody (Derrick), Ruby O'Keefe (Bill Macdonald), Bonnie Evoy (Jerome), Louise Revells (Harold), Roseanne Albert (Floyd), Nancy Vincent, Tracy Sheppard (Dean); brothers : Art Vincent Jr.(Mary), James Vincent (Judy), Terry Vincent (Wanda), Frank Vincent (Cynthia); Special mention to her sister-in-law Joan Hickey (Willis) & family, and special friends Debbie Power (Fred) and Darlene Dunphy (Tim). She will also be greatly missed by a large circle of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Country Haven Funeral Home on Country Road, Corner Brook. Visitation will take place on Sunday, July 17, 2011 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Monday, July 18, 2011 from 7-9pm. The funeral will take place on Tuesday July 19, 2011 at 2.00 pm at St. Ambrose Anglican Church in John's Beach with Rev. Nellie Thomas officiating with assistance from Erica Humber-Shears, with interment at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Elaine Park.
