It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frank Wheeler announce his passing on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at the age of 67 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 48 years, Patsy Wheeler; his daughters Vicki (Gerard Lowe) and Alison O'Brien (Dave); his mother Annie Wheeler; his precious grandchildren: Kirsten and Kyle Power, Mariam Diamond, and Grace and Sam O'Brien; his brothers: Sam (Karen), Dean (Bonnie), and Andrew; his sisters: Lena Childs (Austin), Susan, and Glenda Childs (Dave); his parents-in-law: Ralph and Dossie Pennell; his brother-in-law Rodney Pennell (Linda); his sisters-in-law: Georgina Park (Wallace) and Hazel Sheppard (George); and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Frank was predeceased by his daughter Trina (2007) and his father Albert (2012). At Frank's request cremation has taken place, and there will be no formal visitation or funeral. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Peter Callahan, Dr. Bill Eaton, and the staff of the chemotherapy and palliative care units at Western Memorial Regional Hospital.
