It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edward John Gillingham announce his passing on June 23rd, 2023 at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit in his 85th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife: Margaret Gillingham; their children: Brian Gillingham, Bill Gillingham, Judy Gillingham-Benoit, Valerie Garcia, Andy Randell, and Roger Gillingham; grandchildren: Janine, Glenn, Joshua, Jordan, Felicia, Ian, Catherine Victoria, Colin, Codi and Keiria; and 16 great grandchildren; as well as a large circle of other relatives, and many friends.

There will be a visitation held at Country Haven Funeral Home on Monday, June 26th, 2023 from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM from where the funeral service will take place at 2 PM on Wednesday, June 28th, 2023 at Sonrise Church, Wellington Street, with Pastor Jonathan Rogers officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment to take place in englee, NL at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made in Edward's memory to the Sonrise Church.
