Edward Joseph (Ned)

It is with a heavy heart that the family of the late Edward Donahue announce his passing on Thursday, Aug 5th, 2021 at the age of 79 years.  Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Gloria of 37 years; sons Frankie (Robyn), Ryan (Catherine); grandchildren Easton and Claire; Brother Tone (Hilda) and Sister Sharon (Kevin Barnes); Brothers-in-Law Jim Connolly(Judy), Tone Connolly(Debbie), Derick Greene  (Leanne Barnes); Sisters-in-Law Darlene Noseworthy(Mike), Georgina Green(Perry Gullage), and Marg Greene (Jim Blackwood) and mother-in-law Genevieve Greene. Numerous nephews, nieces and a large circle of family and friends.  Ned was predeceased by his mother Frances Donahue, July 9th, 2001 and his Father, Frank Donahue Oct 1st, 2002. Ned was also predeceased by his Father-in-law James Connolly. As per Ned's wishes cremation has occurred.

Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home on Monday, Aug 9th from 7 PM to 9 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, August 10th from Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish in Benoit's Cove, with Father Jim Robertson officiating. An Interment Service will take place at a later date. Due to Covid-19 regulations, there will be a limit of 100 people; If you would like to attend the funeral, please pre-register with the immediate family. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish in Benoit's Cove, NL. The family would like to express thanks to the physicians and staff of the Western Long Term Care Home, Palliative Care Unit.
