It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edna Katherine Reid announce her passing on Friday, March 3 ^rd , 2023 at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit in her 91 ^st year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: Kerry Reid (Marilyn), Carol Callahan (Robert), and Mark Reid (Donna); grandchildren: Andrew Reid (Oanh), Heather Hamlyn (Stephen), Corey Callahan (Tracy), Kaelum, Greyson, and Ashlen; great-grandchildren: Ruby, Andrew, Katherine, Meadow, and Memphis;  brother: Gerald Eastman (Olga); and sister-in-law: Shirley Sutton; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Edna is predeceased by her husband: Clifford; parents: Willis and Mary Eastman; and her sisters: Lydia Penney, and Ruby Lidstone.

At Edna's request cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation held on Tuesday, March 7 ^th , 2023 at 1 PM in the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel from where the funeral service will take place at 2 PM with Rev. Mickton officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Edna's memory to the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit.
