Heaven has gained another angel. Surrounded by her family at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the age of 76 years, it is with great sadness the family of the late Edna (Marie) Anderson announce the sudden passing of our beautiful mom, grandmother, aunt, and friend, from a brief battle with cancer.

She leaves to mourn her children: Wanda Clark (Jim), Juanita Anderson, Nancy Sheppard (Todd), and Doug Anderson; her five grandsons: Justin Anderson, Nathan Sheppard, Travis Clark, William and Dimitri Anderson (their mother, Alexandria); the love and spark of her life, great-granddaughter Alexis Osmond-Anderson; brother's-in-law: Bob Anderson (Una), Jordie Anderson (Martha), Gerald Anderson (Goretti); sister-in-law Linda Murrin; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friends. Edna was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, William (Willie), on February 7, 2020; parents Mary-Jane and Chesley Locke; brothers: Jim (Blanche) and Willis (Betty); and sister Annie (Jack); sister-in-law's: Millie Quehe (Clifford), Edna Park (Percy), Annie Caines (Wilson), Shirley Murrin (Mathias); brother-in-law, Stephen Murrin.

Visitation is to take place at Country Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 26 ^th , 2022 from the hours of 2:00 PM-4:00 PM. Visitation is private family and friends, by invitation only. NL Vax Pass will be required. The funeral service will take place at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Summerside, NL on Thursday, January 27 ^th , 2022 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Kay Osmond officiating. The funeral Service will also be private family and friends, by invitation only. NL Vax Pass will be required. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations can be made to a charity of one's choice.
