Passed away in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, on April 5, 2026, Edgar Buckle at the age of 78.

Left to mourn with fond memories are his brother David Buckle, his sisters-in-law Bernice Buckle and Verna Buckle, his brother-in-law Keith Sheppard, Lillian MacCannell, his daughter Shannon and grandson Devon. Also, friends and his many nieces and nephews.

Edgar was predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Laura Buckle (nee Lewis), sister Joan Moss, brother-in-law Clary Moss, brother Llewellyn Buckle, brother Lloyd Buckle, sister Rosalie Sheppard, sister-in-law Norma Buckle and niece Sherry-Lynn Loveridge.

Anyone who knew Edgar knew he absolutely loved his home in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, and his cowboy boots. Edgar always wanted to go back home and now will have his wish. His family are bringing Edgar and his cowboy boots back home to be laid to rest at Mount Patricia Cemetery.

There will be a graveside service at Mount Patricia Cemetery on Tuesday July 28th 2026 at 11 AM with Rev. Mickton officiating.

Edgar's family want to give a special thank you to his many friends in NS over the years that stood by him and helped him. We know he thought the world of you all.
