It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dougald Oliver Wells announce his passing on December 9 ^th , 2022 at his home in Conception Bay South in his 87 ^th year, surrounded by his loving family. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife: Doris; children: Debbie Noseworthy (Kevin), Sean Wells (Cathy), and Laurie Pond (Danny); grandchildren: Stephen Wells, Michael Noseworthy, Michael Wells, Shauna Wells, Tyler Noseworthy, Jarod Noseworthy, Kelsey Pond, and Troy Wells; great-grandchildren: Emilia, Logan, Oliver, Lyla, Regan, and Clark; brothers: Jim (Violet), Charlie (Dianne), Terry (Evelyn), and Byron (Ina); sisters: Joan, and Daisy; sister-in-law: Doreen (Ed); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Dougald is predeceased by his parents: Dorothy and Stephen Wells; sisters: Betty, Jessie, and Mona; in-laws: Martha and Murdock Stone; and brother-in-law: Murdock Stone.

There will be a visitation held on Monday, December 12 ^th , 2022 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM from where the funeral service will take place at 2 PM on Tuesday, December 13 ^th , 2022 at West Side Tabernacle, Elizabeth Street, Corner Brook, with Pastor Jeremy Simms officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery-Anglican section. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Dougald's memory to your local S.P.C.A.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Butler and Jennifer Williams from the Home Dementia Program for the care they provided, as well as his three home care workers who went above and beyond with compassion. Susan, Melina, and Beverley. He loved you all!
