It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Dorothy "Dot" Rideout announce her passing at Western Long-Term Care (Valleyside) on Sunday September 3rd, 2023 at the age of 78 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; Ron Rideout, Karl JR. (Monnica), Thomas Rideout (Janette), Roxanne Rideout and Belinda Ball. Her Grandchildren; R.J, Emily, Kevin, Kaitlyn, Ashley, Melanie, Scott, Cassidy, Chad and Sarah. Her Great-grandchildren; Kaiden, Colton, Chad, Emerald and Braxton. Sisters; Minnie, Thersea, Mary, Sylvia (Randy) and Sadie (Randy). Brothers; Danny (Paulette), Russell, Alex, Archie (Lindy). And a large circle of nieces ,nephews, other relatives and many friends. Dorothy was predeceased by Husband Carl Rideout. her parents; Archibald and Alice McKinnon. Brothers; Angus, Jimmy, Johnny, Joe and Allen. Sisters; Shirley, Margaret and Florence. There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, September 6th 2023 From the hours of 1:00 – 2:00 Pm with funeral service to take place At 2:00 Pm following the visitation with Father Lee Lainey Officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Dorothy's memory to the Alzheimer's society.
