It is with great sadness that the family of the late Doris Matilda Gosse (nee. Rice) announce her passing on Saturday, November 4th, 2023 at the Western Long-Term Care in her 91st year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: Wayne, and Sheila (Don); grandchildren: Mark Gosse (Sara), Melissa Brown (Jay), Marcia Gosse, and Shelly Gosse (Laurent); great-grandchild: Kole Gosse; her brother: James Rice (Joan); and sister-in-law: Joan Rice; as well as her other relatives, and many friends.

Doris is predeceased by her husband of 54 years: William Gosse; mother and father: William and Elsie Rice; brother: Clarence Rice; and sister: Marie Cole (Boyd).

There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, November 8th, 2023 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place on Thursday, November 9th, 2023 at 2 PM in the Country Haven Chapel with Rev. Tanya White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Doris' memory to a charity of one's choice.
