June 18, 1945 – April 11, 2023
On behalf of the Anstey families we wish to express our thanks and gratitude to all who attended Donna's funeral services. Your acts of kindness, such as: cards, messages, food, and monatary donations were much appreciated. We also wish to thank Dwayne Parsons and the staff of Country Haven Funeral Home for their professionalism and support shown during this difficult time; to Rev. Mickton for officiating at Donna's celebration of of life; to Laura Anstey and Patricia Dormody for their uplifting tributes to Donna; and finally to the Corner Brook Long Term Care-2 South, for the care and respect they gave Donna during the final years of her life. For everything, we thank you all!

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Donna Mae Anstey announce her passing on Tuesday, April 11 th , 2023 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care in her 77 th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her siblings: Joan (Bob), Lloyd, Robert (Olga), Alfred (Anne), and Gilbert (Judy); her sister-in-law: Daphne Anstey; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Donna is predeceased by her parents: Norman and Dora Anstey; brother: Eric Anstey; stepsisters: Ena Cowieson (Mike), Mary Dalley (Glenn), and Madge Chipman (Ralph); stepbrothers: Ronald Anstey (Kay Bellows), and Stephen Anstey (Margie Cave); and sister-in-law: Eleanor Anstey.
At Donna's request, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation held at Country Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, April 13 th , 2023, from the hours of 7-9 PM from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, April 14 th , 2023, at 1 PM in the Country Haven Chapel with Rev. Mickton officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Donna's memory to Parkinson's Canada ( https://www.parkinson.ca/ ).
