Donald Pascal Noseworthy

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Donald Noseworthy, announce his peaceful passing on August 21, 2026, at the Palliative Care Unit of Western Memorial Regional Hospital. At 92 years old, he was the youngest of the 14 children of John & Minnie Noseworthy.

Left to mourn are his three daughters: Minnie Noseworthy (Terry Browne), Nellie (Byron) Brake, & Patricia (Jeff) Braye; his three grandchildren & their families, including six great grandchildren whom he adored beyond measure; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.

He was a loyal employee to Newfoundland Power where he worked and retired from. He loved anything to do with the outdoors including hunting, fishing, and most importantly, his garden. His garden was where he was the happiest. The last 7 years, Pop has resided at Mountain View House, in Meadows, and he will be missed dearly by all. His presence was a light, and the world is a dimmer place without him. We will do our best to keep his beautiful garden growing strong.

As per Pop’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a service for family and friends taking place in the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, August 25th, 2026, at 12:30 PM, with Rev. Terry Loder officiating. Interment to take place in Grand Falls, NL, at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, a donation can be made in Donald’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
