It is with great sadness that the family of the late Donald Lloyd Carter announce his passing on April 14th, 2024 at the Western Long-Term Care Center, at the age of 81 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his sister: Thelma Robertson; dear friend and caregiver: Sheila Buckle (Robert Winsor); his personal care attendant: Tracy; as well as a large circle of acquaintances, and friends he has met throughout his lifetime.

Don is predeceased by his parents: Henry and Mary Ann Carter; and brother: Henry Vincent Carter.

A special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Western Long-Term Care-Nature's Haven for their dedicated care and attention to Don during his stay.

At his request, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time. Interment to take place at the Anglican Cemetery in Port aux Basques at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Don's memory to a charity of one's choice.
