It is with great sadness that the family of the late Donald Bursey announce his peaceful passing at Western Long Term Care - Palliative Care, in Corner Brook, NL at the age of 87 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Myrtle Bursey; Children, Sandra Oxford (Lorne), Byron Bursey (Connie) and Darren Bursey (Sandra); Grandchildren, Ryan (Alex), Leanne (Justin), Nicole (Christopher), Candice (Tyler), Lindsay Bursey, Megan Bursey and Alison Bursey; Great-Grandchildren, Abigail Fisher, Anna Taylor and Ty Bursey-Cassell;   Brother Milton Bursey (Marlene); Sisters, Joyce Earle and Glenda Johnson; As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was predeceased by his great-granddaughter, Gracie Fisher.  As per Donald's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal visitation or service at this time, to be announced at a later date.  The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors and staff of the Palliative Care Unit for the compassion showed towards Donald. As expressions of sympathy, there are no flowers by request, memorial donations may be made to the Janeway Children's Hospital or Ronald McDonald House.
