It's with heavy hearts and profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Diane Marie Stone at the palliative care unit on Tuesday April 14, 2026 at the age of 68 years.

She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her partner Don, daughters Tanya (Lee), Ashley(Mark) and Debbie(Matt). 6 precious grandchildren:  Lilly, Sam, Peter, Leah, Clara and Annalynn. Siblings: Margaret, Peter, Denise(Byron), Gary(Evelyn), Darren (Mary) and Rod. Also left to mourn is a large circle of family and friends. She also leaves behind her fur baby, Willow.

Mom is predeceased by her mother and father Peter and Christina, brothers Mike and Arch, sister Jeannette (Llewelyn) and baby Christopher.

Mom was the life of the party! She was always ready to have a good time. She was a social butterfly and would talk to anyone. She was always willing to lend a hand or be a listening ear. She loved to watch baseball, especially the blue jays.

We would like to send a special thank you to the staff at western long term care bungalow 3 where mom spent just a few short months- she thought the world of you all! The Er doctors and nurses, 4a nurses and staff- especially Hannah and the palliative care nurses and staff.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held for family and friends on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 from 1-3.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the spca as mom was an animal lover.
