David Terry
Wells
June 24, 1965 – July 25, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of David Terry Wells, age 60, on Friday, July 25th 2025 at his home in Cox's Cove with his loving wife by his side. Dave was a devoted husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather, a cherished son and brother, a fun-loving uncle, a kind cousin, and a loyal friend - roles he embraced with his whole heart and soul.
Dave loved his family, and this love could be felt in everything he did for them and with them. He will be missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 36 years, Glyness; His son; who he loved with all his heart and was so proud of, Tyler (Heidi). His beautiful granddaughters; who were his pride and joy and he lit up whenever he spoke of them, Madison and Morgan, and his grandpuppy, Tessa.
He also leaves behind his parents; Terry and Evelyn Wells. His brother; Lonnie (Kelly). His sister Janice. Glyness' birth parents; Hilda Sheppard (deceased Reg) and Gerald Park (Nancy). Brothers-in-law; Jim Caines (Donna), Glenn Caines (Pam). Sisters-in-law; Bernice Park (Medrick), Patsy Perry, Maxine Payne (Ira), Cathy Park (Nick), Judy Sheppard (Dave), Brandy Park, Uncle Dave's special girls; Jaylyn and Brianna. Nephew; Tanner, and other nieces and nephews; Natasha, Nadean, Melvin, Glendale, Dana, Tara, Jonathan, Jordan, Cora, Robin, Ashley, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him dearly.
He will also be fondly remembered by many friends, including a circle of close friends; Norm and Lillian White, Chris and Patsy Keats, Glen and Jennifer Park, and special cousin Vic Park.
Dave was full of warmth and laughter. He loved to tell stories- some true, and others that may have stretched the truth just a little. He loved traveling to Clarenville to spend time with Poppy's girls, and he cherished his time at the trailer in Sandy Lake with Glyness and his trailer buddies, Debbie and Derek, Ivan and Marina, and Krista and Derrick. Dave had a lifelong love of sports - both playing and watching them. He also loved to travel with Glyness, who was always by his side on every adventure.
Dave is predeceased by his grandparents; John and Jenny Park, and Steven and Dorothy Wells, as well as his in-laws; Charles and Amelia Caines, and his special friend; Cyril Wheeler.
Dave was a truly special person, and the love, laughter, and light he brought into the lives of his family and friends will never be forgotten.
