It is with great sadness that the family of the late David "Dave" Herbert Gosse announce his peaceful passing surrounded by his loving family, on August 16th, 2024 at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit at the age of 74 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his children: David, (granddaughter Darcy), Donald, and Donna, (grandson Cameron); brothers and sisters: Marie, Joan, Bruce, Linda, Margaret, and Keith; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Dave is predeceased by his parents: Herbert and Jean Gosse; brothers-in-law: Pat Walsh, and Rex Pittman; and his niece: Nancy.

Dave faced many challenges in his life, but was a kind, loving soul who dearly loved nature, walking in the woods, and the outdoors. He also cherished his time spent with his beloved family and friends throughout the years. A special thank you to those dear friends, especially over the past few years, for their support and encouragement they've shown Dave. Also, a thank you to the ICU, ACE, and Palliative Care Unit for their professionalism, care, and attention to our dear brother during his time of need.

There will be a visitation taking place for family and friends at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 1-3 PM on Sunday, August 18th, 2024. Cremation to follow. There will be no formal funeral service. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, August 19th, 2024 at Mount Patricia Cemetery with Rev. David Russell officiating.
