It is with great sadness that the family of the late David Raymond Gallant announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care on Friday, January 7, 2022 at the age of 84 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Loretta, son Joseph (Stacey), sister Patsy & husband John Gillis, in-laws Elsie Gallant, Juanita Dower, Belle LeBlanc (Gilbert), Judy Bale, Pauline Allen (Don), Arlene McDonald, Carrie McDonald, Jim McDonald, Mike McDonald (Pat), and Ken McDonald (Mary), plus numerous nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by parents John and Margaret Gallant, sister Sedella and her husband Lanny North, brothers Joe Gallant and Ken Gallant, Mother and father-in-law Margaret & Jim McDonald, brothers in law Ed McDonald, Bern McDonald, Leo McDonald, Frank Dower, Ted Bale and Denny Callahan. Cremation has taken place. There will be no formal service or visitation at this time. As expressions of sympathy, there are no flowers by request, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to W.M.R.H Foundation (Palliative) or the Cancer Society.
