It is with great sadness that the family of the late David Thomas Crompton announce his passing on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL at the age of 89 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his daughter: Assunta Joyce (Mike); son: Colin Crompton (Sarah); grandchildren: Andrew Quenneville, and Simone Quenneville; his fur buddies: Boo and Peeka; and his special niece: Debbie Hale; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

David is predeceased by his wife: Mary Crompton; and sister: Judith Hale.

At his request, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation held on Thursday, February 1st, 2024 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, February 2nd, 2024 at 11 AM in the Country Haven Chapel with Major Brian Wheeler officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of WMRH-3A, and to Lanes Retirement Home for their exceptional care of our dear father.
