Darryl Glenn
Fifield
August 8, 1978 – January 30, 2026
It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Darryl Glenn Fifield, of Pasadena, Newfoundland, on January 30, 2026.
Darryl was born in St. John's, NL, on August 8, 1978, the youngest son of Marilyn and the late Gordon Fifield. The family moved to Pasadena in 1984 and put down deep roots in the community.
Darryl left a profound and lasting impression on those who were fortunate enough to be close to him. He was a devoted father and mentor to Logan and a loving husband to Terra. He is survived by his mother Marilyn, two brothers Gord (Cindy) and Steve (Jody), mother-in-law Pansy Carter (Fred), brother-in-law James Carter (Candice), several close friends, and many wonderful nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father Gordon Fifield and father-in-law Barry Carter.
Darryl loved to be with family and friends, but his most cherished moments were spent with his son, Logan, and his wife, Terra. They could be found riding their side by side, their snowmobiles, or fishing. He loved playing his guitar with Logan, or sitting by the fire with family and friends listening to country classics. He could always be found with a good cup of coffee in his hand.
In following Darryl's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation is planned for Friday, February 6, 2026, from 7:00-9:00 pm at the Pasadena Pentecostal Church. A Celebration of Life will follow on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 1:00-3:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, laughter, and love as we honour a man who brought so much joy to the world around him. An interment will take place at a later date.
A special thank you those who who came to support the family in need - spending time or donating food. A special thank you to Pastors Bill and Lynette Cole from the Pasadena Pentecostal Church .
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations in Darryl's honour be made to Deer Lake Search and Rescue, with assistance from all the local volunteers. They will be forever grateful for their assistance in bringing him home. Please donate to the Deer Lake Search and Rescue at dlsartreasurer@hotmail.com
Rest in peace Darryl - We will love you forever and you will always be in our hearts.
For those who are unable to attend the celebration of life, a livestream will be available via Country Haven Funeral Home's Facebook page.
