It is with great sadness that the family of the late Darrell Pike announce his peaceful passing on March 13, 2025 at the Western Long-Term Palliative Care Unit at the age of 76 years.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughter: Erin (Chad) Rideout; son: Chris (Lacey) Pike; his adored grandchildren: Reese, Ty and Finley; brothers: Derek (Beth) Pike, Ed (Wanda) Pike, and Reg (Pearl) Pike; brothers-in-law: Ken Walls; sister-in-law: Marilyn (Keith) Kingston; as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews, many life-long friends; especially Eugene (Pat) Small, and Don Connolly.

Darrell was predeceased by his loving wife: Marjorie Pike (2013); his parents: Neil and Sadie Pike; parents-in-law: James and Blanche Walls; and nephew Donnie Pike.

Darrell loved everybody; his positivity and thoughtfulness left an impression on everyone who knew him. His faith, outlook on life, his love for his friends, and most importantly his love and devotion to his family will leave a lasting impression on our hearts forever.

Special thank you to his care workers Brenda Rodway and Kyle Hotton, Dr. Tim Griffin and staff at Broadway Family Health Clinic, Dr. Benesch, Nurse Cassandra Hiscock (ICU), and the wonderful staff of the Western Long-Term Palliative Care Unit: your compassion and kindness will never be forgotten.

Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, Corner Brook, on Sunday March 16, 2025 between the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will take place at 2 PM on Monday, March 17, 2025 at the St. Michael & All Angels Anglican Church with Rev. Mickton officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Darrell's memory to a charity of one's choice.
