It is with heavy hearts the family of the late Cyril Dawson Sweetapple announce his peaceful passing on December 20th 2023, at the Western Long-Term Care, Corner Brook.  Cyril leaves to mourn, with fond and loving memories, his daughters Gail Coady and Derrice Knight.  Four Grandchildren; Emma, Gina, Lydia and Jordan.  6 Great-grandchildren; Leah, Noah, Kellen, Isla, Kate, and Navy.  Also, a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Cyril is predeceased by his wife; Madge Sweetapple (Nee Gullage), his parents and siblings.

The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank-you to loving staff of the Western Long-Term Care, Balsamview House for the compassion and care he received during his stay.

Cremation has taken place, there will be a funeral service taking place at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 at the Salvation Army Temple, O'Connell Drive, Corner Brook, NL with Major Brian Wheeler and Major Larry Goudie officiating. Following the funeral service, receiption to take place at Barrett Hall. Interement to follow reception at Mount Patricia Cemetery. No flowers by request, instead a donation in Cyril's memory can be made to the Salvation Army Temple Corps, O' Connell Drive, Corner Brook, NL, or to a charity of one's choice.
