It is with great sadness that the family of the late David Richard Joyce announce his peaceful passing at his private residence on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at the age of 77 years.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 57 years: Nina; sons: Wayne Joyce (Connie), and Brian Joyce (Jody); daughter: Tina Joyce (Steve); grandchildren: Alexis, Taylor, Coby, Christina, and Casey; siblings; Robert (Mary), Mike (Catherine), and Susan (Carl); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Dave was predeceased by his parents: Robert and Francis Joyce; infant son: Richard; and sisters: Rita and Sadie.

Cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation taking place for family and friends on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Country Haven Funeral Home from 7-9 PM. The funeral service will take place at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish, Benoit's Cove, with Father Lee Lainey officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Dave's memory to a charity of one's choice.
