It is with great sadness the family of the late Clayton Murphy announce his passing at his private residence in Corner Brook NL. on January 3rd, 2026, at the age of 69 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his son; Darcy. His brothers; Daniel, Bradley, Jamie (Miranda), Marvin (Danielle), Charlie (Diane), Gerard, and Cecil. His sisters; Dorothy, Nancy (Shane), Jeannie (Bertie), and Kimberly (Alfie). Grandchildren; Sheldon, Claire, Aiden, Tamara, Emma, Jonathan, Justin, James, John, Andrew, Christian, Marvin, Stephen, Shelby, Jason, Sherry, Chrissy, Ian and Heather.  Step-Mother; Ruby Murphy. Long time friend; Joan Gardiner. Also, a large circle of extended family and many friends.

Clayton was predeceased by his wife; Jacqueline and His father; Charles Murphy.

There will be a public visitation on Wednesday January 7th 2026 at Country Haven Funeral Home from 1-3 PM from where the funeral service will take place at 3 PM in the  Country Haven Chapel with Rev. Paulette Bugden officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Clayton's memory to a chairty of one's choice.
