It is with great sadness that the family of the late Christopher Derek Gillingham announce his sudden passing on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at his private residence in Corner Brook, NL at the age of 73 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his brothers: Ted, and Clar; and his sister: Barb; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Christopher was predeceased by his parents: Hubert and Mabel Gillingham; and brothers and sisters: Thomas, Gerald, Raymond, Melvin, Loretta, and Elizabeth.

There will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Chrisopher's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
