It is with great sadness that the family of the late Charles James Larkin announce his passing on Thursday, November 23, 2023 at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit at the age of 78 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his nieces: Tammy (Cory), Tracy (Alfred), Sandra (Craig), and Shirley (Ron); nephews: Paul (Ellen), Robert (Beverly), William (Brenda), Shawn (Linda), and Terry; sisters-in-law: Margie Wheeler (Ernie), Marie (Fred), and Shirley (Wayne); brother-in-law: Wayne Bennett; step-sons: Shawn, and Robert; and step-daughter: Tammy; and his home care worker: Gary McCarthy.

Charlie is predeceased by his companion: Joanne Webb; parents: Isaac and Alice "Julia" Larkin; brother: Roy Larkin (Marjorie); and nieces: Julie, and Marilyn (Merle).

Charlie's family would like to offer a sincere thank you to the nurses, doctors and staff of the Palliative Care Unit for caring for Charlie during his stay there.

At his request, cremation has taken place. There will be an interment service taking place at 11 AM on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Mount Patricia Cemetery with Rev. Mickton officiating. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made in Charlie's memory to a charity of one's choice.
