It is with great sadness that the family of the late Charles David Wells announce his passing on Tuesday, May 16 ^th , 2023 at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit in his 82 ^nd year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 63 years, Diana (nee. Taylor); daughter: Glenda Anderson (Arnold); son: Michael Wells (Penny); his grandchildren: Angela Elson (Brad), Jeffrey Anderson (Sarah Nicholson), and Melanie Wood (Michael); his great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Cohen, Braden, Zoie, and Charlye; brothers: Jim (Violet), Terry (Evelyn), and Byron (Ina); sisters: Daisy, and Joan; brothers-in-law: David (Patricia), and Ted (Joy); and sister-in-law: Nina (Roland); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Charles is predeceased by his infant son, Charles David; parents: Steven and Dorothy Wells; brother: Dougald Wells; sisters: Betty James, Jessie Stratton, and Mona Park; and his mother and father-in-law: Alton and Ella Taylor.

At his request, cremation has taken place. Visitation and funeral service to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made in Charles' memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
