It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Cecilia Chin (White) announce her sudden passing on Monday, March 27 ^th , 2023, at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, at the age of 74. A heart of gold and always thinking of others, Sis or Sissy as she was lovingly known, loved her family dearly, her time outdoors with a roaring campfire and enjoying her garden with her buddy Max by her side. She will be missed and fondly remembered by many.

Left to mourn and remember her with love are her children Christopher, Christine (Andrew), Michael (Lavinia), and Shawn (April and her son Joshua); sisters Joanne Quilty, Majalla Raymond, and Vera McCann (Melvin); brother Jackie (Jacqueline); sisters-in-law Jean White and Debbie White; brothers-in-law Junior and Kenny; grandchildren Gregory, Meagan Hughes (Thomas), Brianna and Riley Chin; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Cecilia is predeceased by her husband Freeman; her parents Vera and Jack White; mother-in-law Lois Chin; father-in-law George (Yook) Chin; brothers Donny White and Bobby White; brothers-in-law Bruce Raymond and Frank Quilty; and special friend Bob Brake.

There will be a visitation held on Thursday, March 30 ^th , 2023 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 7-9 PM, and Friday, March 31 ^st , 2023 at 1 PM from where the funeral service will take place in the Country Haven Chapel at 2 PM with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Cecilia's memory to a charity of one's choice.
