It is with great sadness that the family of the late Carrie Gloria Helen Mugford (Hutchings) announce her passing on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at the Western Long-Term Palliative Care, at the age of 71 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her companion and good friend to the family: Hubert; her children: Emily Nicholas (Alywin), and Brian Pilgrim; grandchildren: Samantha, Christa, Brianna, Hillary, Allison, Tyler, and Sam; great-grandchildren: Zayden, Jaxxon, Javien, Maison, Sabastian, Connor, Levi, and Greyson; sisters: Elva Bromley (Don), and Sara Coolen; brothers: Wilson Mugford (Arleen), and Kenneth Mugford (Melanie); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Carrie was predeceased by her husband: Wilfred Hutchings; her son: Toby Pilgrim; sisters: Verbena Penney (Burt), and Velma Penney (Cliff); and her brother: Raymond Mugford;

In following Carrie's wishes, cremation will take place. There will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Carrie's family to help alleviate financial stress at this extremely difficult time.
