It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Caroline (Carrie) Maynard announce her passing at Palliative Care in Corner Brook on April 13, 2021. Caroline passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her daughters'. Carrie will be sadly missed by her husband of 60 years, Benjamin. Her children: Brian, David, Robert (Claudine), Carla (Randy), Janet (Randy); her grandchildren: Krista, Benjamin, Robert, Andrew, Megan and Camile. Her great-grandchildren, Nathan and Casey. Her sister: Sylvia Smith; Brothers:  Bill Gould (Denise), Ray Mahar (Jamie); special family member:  Jackie Kennedy; special friend:  Anne Benoit also leaving to mourn many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  Carrie was predeceased by her son: Rodney; parents:  Albin & Annie Mahar; sister: Grace; and brothers: Lloyd and Lorne, son-in-law: Denny.  There will be a private family viewing at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel.  Cremation to follow.  A funeral service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, April 19, 2021, with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations in memory of Carrie Maynard can be made to The Janeway Foundation.
