It is with great sadness the family of the late Carmelettia Mary Anne Lawlor announce her passing. Carmelettia Anne Lalwor passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones in the Corner Brook Long Term Care Center on Tuesday May 20th, 2025. Carm was in her 68th year.

Left with many fond and loving memories are her daughter Leah (Mike), her son Stan (Tanya). Her grandchildren Jessica, Leslie, Melanie and Melissa. And her pride and Joy her great granddaughter Sofia.  Also, her sister Sharron and brother Kevin.  She will also be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her friends and greatest supporters, Pansy and Stan, also, by her bonus granddaughter Alex.

She is predeceased by her loving parents Harvey and Patricia Squires, her husband and the love of her life Stan, her infant son Christopher.  As well as her sisters Regina, Patricia, Betty and brothers Robert, Paul and Barry.

Carm met Stan at the young age of 16, fell in love and got married, then started a family. Carm loved staying home taking care of her family and friends. She loved to cook and made a legendary deep-dish pizza that will be remembered by many family and friends for years to come. Carm's love for her family and friends was strong and true. Carm was a very strong women who overcame many health issues throughout her lifetime, but you would never hear her complain. Her kind soft spirit will be missed by many.

A very special thank you to the staff at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Center (3 North). Your care and compassion for Carm over the last 3 years was greatly appreciated.

Carmelettia's cremation has taken place, there will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time, however, an interment service will take place at a later date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory be made to the Corner Brook Long Term Care Center.
