September 26, 2001 – May 18, 2022
It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of the late Cameron Noble Luke Payne, of Cox's Cove, NL, announce his passing in Labrador City, NL on Wednesday, May 18 th , 2022, at the age of 20 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his parents: Ramona and Lewis Payne; sister: Carrie Payne; special cousin: Brooklyn; girlfriend: Makayla Kelly; as well as a large circle of other relatives and many friends. Cameron also leaves to mourn, his Labrador City family: Kelly Wellon, Jack Crant, Rick and Trina Kelly; as well as a large circle of friends in Labrador City, NL.
He was predeceased by his grandmother: Judy Payne; grandparents: Luke and Doris Cox; his aunt and godmother: Trudy Cox; aunt: Marilyn Cox; grandparents: Noble and Virginia Wells.
Cameron was an avid lover of the outdoors. He enjoyed spending much of his time on snowmobile and dirt bike. Cameron had quite the talent for mechanics. Anything with a motor was sure to bring him great joy. His love for the outdoors brought out the free spirit that defined him. Cameron's love for the outdoors and mechanics were only surpassed by the love he had for his family and friends.
Cameron could always be found wearing his favourite footwear, his Dunlop's. He had an infectious smile that could brighten anyone's day. When you think of Cameron, cherish and celebrate the good memories you share with him. Remember that life is fragile, short and should be lived to the fullest. He will be missed more than words could ever say, and will remain close in our hearts until the day we can meet again.
A visitation will be held at St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Cox's Cove, NL on Monday, May 23 rd , 2022, from the hours of 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM; Tuesday, May 24 th , 2022 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, May 25 th , 2022, at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Terry Loder Officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment will take place at a later date.
Flowers are graciously accepted. Those wishing to make a donation in Cameron's memory may do so to a charity of one's choice. Donations will also be graciously accepted by the family.
