It is with great sadness that the family of the late Brian Francis Ruth announce his sudden passing at his residence on October 28 ^th , 2022 in his 64 ^th year.

Brian was a very family-oriented man and was happiest when surrounded by his loved ones. He was the center of most family gatherings with his pranks, crazy antics, and jokes. He had a passion for photography and enjoyed his peaceful time at the cabin in Howley and Burton's Point. He will truly be missed by all.

Brian leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his son: Steven, and his mother, Cathy Young; daughters: Kelly McCoy (Rob), and Megan Payne (Adam); grandchildren: Riley, Brandon, Kyler, and Bethany; sisters: Linda Wells (Gerard Gallant), Paulette Bellows (David), Trudy Elliott, Kathy Pynn (Allan), and Judy Vincent (Jim); his brothers: Glenn (Alfreda), Bill, and David (Darlene); in-laws: Darrell Payne (Angela), Bruce Decker (Sherry), and Desmond Churchill (Christine); as well as his Uncle Terry, and Aunt Frances; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Brian is predeceased by his wife: Mavis; his beloved son: Bradley; parents: Bill and Beulah Ruth; his in-laws: Lillian and Stedman Payne; and brother-in-law: Wayne Wells.

There will be a visitation held on Saturday, November 5 ^th , 2022 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 7 ^th , 2022 at St. Mary's Anglican Church in Curling at 2 PM with Rev. Cynthia Hanes Turner officiating. Cremation to take place. Interment to follow at a later date.
